DPF Cleaning

DPF Cleaning

What Does a DPF Do?

The DPF, or diesel particulate filler,  of your vehicle captures exhaust from your vehicle’s engine to reduce emissions. The collected soot must be periodically removed so the DPF can function correctly. With diesel engine vehicles, the soot is what causes black smoke to be emitted when accelerating.

In addition to decreased performance and increased regeneration cycles, there is a light on the dashboard that will go on when the DPF needs cleaning.

What Are the Benefits?
